Measure Twice, Cut Once.

Below you will find a brief explanation of the Architectural CAD Services process. This will give you an idea of the process and what to expect while working with HoW CAD Drafting. Tom offers support services to clients when engineering consultation is required.

Drafting Services – Scope of Work

You will meet with Tom and discuss the project and identify the scope of work desired. A proposal/contract will be provided outlining the work and service he will deliver. Once approved and signed project execution will commence.

AutoCAD LT – Project Execution

The project is done using AutoCAD LT. Depending upon the size and scope of the project, several review drafts or electronic files of the project will be provided at regular intervals. During this time, constant communication will be essential to ensure comments or questions regarding the project are addressed.

CAD Drawings – Final Delivery of project set

The project will be delivered in .pdf format.  A CAD file is offered by request (no charge).  HoW CAD can also send to a local print shop (or shop of your choice) for a hard copy set.  Need info about permitting?   Find out more here.

“The entire experience went extremely smooth because of the extra effort by Tom. By asking the appropriate questions ahead of time, he was able to understand our concerns and draw the addition tailored to us and our lifestyle.

I would definitely recommend Tom to any and all who require drawings from the simple to the very complex. It was a joy to work with him.”
