Tom Alexander is a veteran AutoCAD Drafter, CAD Technician. He caters to the Architectural discipline with a personal interest in ADA-compliant buildings. He is wheelchair-bound after a construction accident; hence the name and logo of the company: Hell on Wheels – HoW CAD Drafting Services.
Tom has been on a journey or “redefining possible” ever since he fell when scaffolding collapsed on a job 30 years ago. Today, he sports a wheelchair and “possible” for him is a continual journey, including a reinvented career as a CAD Drafter. Prior to his CAD drafting career, he was in residential and light commercial construction. Tom didn’t set out to be an expert in ADA design but via the school of hard knocks, he earned the equivalent of a degree in intelligent, barrier-free design for accessibility.
